Despite the beautiful view, the bathroom cleanliness left something to be desired, with visible lipstick and paint splatters. The air conditioning unit was quite noisy, making it tough to find peace. The lack of space in bathrooms for personal items due to no shelves felt like a design oversight. The noisy bar below was disruptive, especially late at night, affecting overall comfort during the stay. Additionally, the TV connectivity was frustrating, with repeated attempts to cast failing due to a faulty system.

The hotel had a great location, close to many attractions like Green Point Park, which made it easy to explore the area. The room was spacious, and I particularly enjoyed the separate shower and bath in the Loft Room. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of delicious options available. The location felt central, making it easy to explore Cape Town, with easy access to the promenade for walks. However, service hiccups at breakfast affected my experience. There were several mix-ups among the staff, which caused delays. I was disappointed there was no acknowledgment of the New Year at midnight on the 31st. I also experienced some health issues, likely due to inadequate health and safety measures around the breakfast buffet. Bottled water shortages were another issue I noticed, prevalent across many places in Cape Town during New Year. It surprised me for a nice establishment like this.
